Arriving at Messe München by car

The trade fair center is located directly on the A94 motorway. You will be guided to the relevant parking areas by the traffic guidance system. Please note that access in front of the entrances may be restricted during events. All parking areas typically open two hours before the start of the fair and close two hours after the end.

Arrival by public transport

The trade fair grounds are directly connected to the two underground stations Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost on the U2 line.

The U2 towards Messestadt Ost runs from 04:00 AM until around 01:00 AM, with 5-minute intervals Monday to Friday between 06:00 AM and 08:00 PM, providing a direct connection to Messe München.

Alternatively, coming from Munich or Erding, you can use the S-Bahn:
– Take S2 to Riem
– Change to bus 190 towards Messestadt Ost
– Get off at Am Messesee for the West Entrance, or Messestadt Ost for the East Entrance

Getting to Messe München from Munich Central Station

From Munich Central Station, you can reach Messe München in under 30 minutes.

Take the U2 underground line directly to Messestadt West or Messestadt Ost. The journey takes just under 20 minutes without changing trains. The U2 towards Messestadt Ost runs from 04:00 AM to around 01:00 AM, with 5-minute intervals Monday to Friday between 06:00 AM and 08:00 PM.

Alternatively, you can take the S-Bahn from Munich:
– S2 to Riem
– Change to bus 190 towards Messestadt Ost
– Stop Am Messesee (West Entrance) or Messestadt Ost (East Entrance)

Taxi
Approx. 25 minutes for a single journey. Numerous taxis are available at the taxi ranks around the central station.

Getting to Messe München from the airport

Messe München is around 42 km from Munich Airport. Public transport and taxis will take you directly to the trade fair grounds.

Public transport
Directly beneath the central area of Munich Airport, you can access the S-Bahn station for lines S1 and S8. Trains towards the city run every 10 minutes. Depending on the route, travel time is approximately 45–60 minutes.
