Data processing for participants and prospective participants

General:

The participant understands that, within the framework of registering for the expopharm Impuls event, personal data concerning it may be passed on for the implementation of the event provided that this is necessary for the purpose.

In the following, we will inform you about the collection of personal data for registration as a participant within the framework of expopharm Impuls. Only professional groups from the pharmacy market are entitled to participate. Only members of these professional groups may register.

Personal data is all information concerning you, i.e. all information which relates to an identified or identifiable natural person and which expresses the physical, physiological, genetic, psychological, financial, cultural or social identity of this natural person. This includes, for example, information such as your surname, first name and occupational status. Information which directly relates to your identity.

We process the personal data collected during registration for expopharm Impuls in compliance with the provisions of the GDPR and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) using automated processes within the framework of registration for the digital event expopharm Impuls. This personal data is stored and processed to implement and handle the registration as a participant and is not passed on to unauthorised third parties or used in any other way.

The personal data on the network profile, which is provided optionally, is only visible to other participants with the active consent of the participant. This consent may, of course, be revoked on the network profile at any time. The data is visible to third parties when you activate the network profile. The data on an active network profile is automatically transmitted to third parties during participation in live Q&A sessions, Apolessons and in the event of use of the appointment booking function and offers.

The email address is used to send login details (to log in to the digital event) and (if you have provided your consent) to send the expopharm Impuls newsletter. Part of the data is collected to ensure proper functioning of the website. Other data can be used to analyse how visitors use the site.

The personal data on the network profile is entered independently. The data which is entered serves to maintain relationships, have discussions and network with professional contacts. The data is also visible to third parties when you activate the personal network profile. The participant may independently deactivate this function at any time.

For the fulfilment of the purposes stated under 1), the following personal data for registration is collected, processed and used: Surname, first name and e-mail-address and role in the pharmaceutical sector.

To fulfil the purposes set out in 1) relating to the network profile, personal data is visible on the user profile when the participant has actively provided their consent to publication. The following personal data is collected, processed and used on the network profile: Title, first name, surname, company, role/position, country, contact details (email address, telephone number, LinkedIn profile, Xing profile), About Me free text file, profile picture, areas of particular interest.

3) Data processing relating to the expopharm Impuls newsletter

To subscribe to the expopharm Impuls newsletter, the double opt-in method is used. A confirmation email is first sent to the email address you provided with a request for confirmation. The registration only becomes effective when the activation link contained in the confirmation email is clicked. The data transmitted to us is exclusively used to send the newsletter, which contains important information about the event.

We use rapidmail to send our newsletter. Your data will therefore be transmitted to rapidmail GmbH. It is prohibited for rapidmail GmbH to use your data for other purposes than for sending the newsletter. rapidmail GmbH is not permitted to pass on or sell your data. rapidmail is a certified newsletter software provider from Germany and was carefully selected according to the requirements of GDPR and the BDSG.

You may revoke your consent to the storage of your data and its use for the newsletter dispatch at any time via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.

Data processing for partners and prospective partners

In the following, we will inform you about the collection of personal data when you participate in expopharm Impuls as a partner.

We process partners’ personal data from their application forms, or based on the consent of the prospective partner concerned, considering the regulations of the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and the BDSG-neu (New Federal Data Protection Act) in an automated procedure, as part of contract execution or to execute pre-contractual measures with prospective partners/partners.
