Arriving at Messe München by Car

The exhibition center is directly located next to the A94 highway.
You will be guided to the respective parking areas by signage on the highway.

Please note that access in front of the entrances is restricted during trade fairs.

All parking areas open two hours before the start of the fair and close two hours after the fair ends.

Arrival at Messe München from the Airport

Messe München is located 42 kilometers south of Munich Airport. Public transport and taxis will take you directly to the exhibition grounds.

Public transport:
Directly beneath the central area of Munich Airport, you can find the S-Bahn (suburban train) station for lines S1 and S8.
The S-Bahn trains towards the city center run every 10 minutes. The travel time varies between 45 and 60 minutes depending on the route.

Arrival by Public Transportation

The exhibition center is directly connected to the Messestadt Ost subway station of the U2 line.

The U2 subway line towards Messestadt Ost operates from 04:00 am to about 01:00 am, Monday to Friday between 06:00 am and 08:00 pm, running directly to Messe München every 5 minutes.

Alternatively, you can use the S-Bahn coming from Munich or Erding:

  • take the S-Bahn line S2 to the Riem station
  • transfer to bus 190 towards Messestadt Ost
  • stop at Messestadt Ost to reach the East Entrance

Information about construction work on the S-Bahn trunk line

Please note that if you are traveling by S-Bahn, the so-called S-Bahn trunk line between Pasing and S-Bahn station will be closed for maintenance work from Friday, October 11 (10:00 PM) continuously until Monday, October 14, 2024 (4:40 AM). A rail replacement service will be provided. Additionally, alternative options such as U-Bahn, bus, and tram are available.
