Arrival by public transport
The trade fair grounds are directly connected to the two subway stations Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost on line U2.
Subway line U2 toward Messestadt Ost runs from 4:00 a.m. to approximately 1:00 a.m. Between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, trains run every 5 minutes directly to Messe München.
Alternatively, you can take the suburban train from Munich or Erding:
– take S-Bahn line 2 to Riem station
– change to bus 190 toward Messestadt Ost
– get off at Am Messesee to reach the West Entrance

Getting to Messe München from the Munich Central Station
From Munich Central Station, you can reach Messe München in less than 30 minutes.
The exhibition grounds are directly connected to the two subway stations Messestadt West and Messestadt Ost on line U2. From the main station, you can reach the trade fair center without changing trains in just under 20 minutes. Subway line U2 toward Messestadt Ost runs from 4:00 a.m. to approximately 1:00 a.m. Between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, trains run every 5 minutes directly to Messe München.
Alternatively, you can take the suburban train from Munich:
– take S-Bahn line 2 to Riem station
– change to bus 190 toward Messestadt Ost
– get off at Am Messesee to reach the West Entrance
– or at Messestadt Ost to reach the East Entrance

Taxi
The journey takes approximately 25 minutes one way. Numerous taxis are available at the taxi stands around the main station.
Getting to Messe München from the airport
Messe München is located 42 kilometers south of Munich Airport. Public transport and taxis will take you directly to the exhibition grounds.
Public transport
Directly below the central area of Munich Airport, you will find the suburban train station for lines S1 and S8. S-Bahn trains toward the city center run every 10 minutes. Travel time is between 45 and 60 minutes, depending on the route.

Taxi
The journey takes approximately 35 minutes one way. Numerous taxis are available directly in front of the terminals at the airport.
Getting to Messe München by car
The exhibition grounds are located directly on the A94 motorway. While on the motorway, signs will already direct you to the relevant parking areas. Please note that access in front of the entrances is restricted during trade fairs. All parking areas open two hours before the trade fair begins and close two hours after it ends.
