A competition for the best PTAs in Germany
PTAs are constantly facing new tasks and requirements. It is important for them to continually develop their skills. In addition, it is crucial to strengthen the public image of the PTA profession.
For this reason, the German PTA Championship was launched in close collaboration with the Federal Competence Center for Pharmacy Technicians at the Völker School in Osnabrück and WorldSkills Germany e. V. The competition, supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, helps PTAs to unlock their professional potential and passion for pharmacy and local pharmacies.
The German PTA Championship is not only a national platform but also a springboard for participation in international competitions. The finalists have the opportunity to become part of the German national team and qualify at a European or global level.
At expopharm 2024, the German PTA Championship brought together the best PTA talents in Germany to showcase their skills in various disciplines. Over four exciting days, the participants competed in typical pharmacy tasks such as preparing formulations, providing consultations, and measuring blood pressure. At the grand finale on Saturday, the top six finalists battled for the title and the chance to join the German national team.
