How can I purchase tickets for expopharm 2022?

Tickets for expopharm 2022 in Munich will be available through our website on 20 June 2022 as of 12am.

How much does it cost to participate in expopharm?

Expopharm tickets can be purchased from 20 June 2022.

In addition to innovations and new offers as well as the high-profile lectures on several stages, expopharm also offers an exciting supporting programme.

The German Pharmacists’ Congress offers an opportunity for the pharmacy community to set the political course for the industry of tomorrow. The opening ceremony will set the tone for the four days of the fair. A highlight for all exhibitors and visitors is at the expopharm Night on Thursday evening.

The exhibitors’ seminars and events at their booths offer additional exclusive information, expertise and entertainment.

Hotel and accommodation service

Europe’s largest trade fair for the pharmacy market will take place in Munich from 14 to 17 September 2022. Other events will take place in the greater Munich area during the same period, which may result in limited hotel room capacities. Therefore, we recommend that you reserve your hotel rooms now.

Are there any restrictions on the number of industry visitors due to COVID-19?

According to the current regulations by the authorities as well as the specifications of Messe München, there are no restrictions. Avoxa Mediengruppe will use the entry system in operation to ensure that the maximum number of visitors is not exceeded at any time in order to make sure that it does not place the safety and health of visitors, exhibitors, speakers and service providers at risk.

When will Avoxa Mediengruppe make a decision on the implementation of expopharm as an in-person event in the event of ongoing COVID-19 issues?

Due to the event date, which is scheduled in autumn 2022, we are confident that expopharm 2022 will take place. We review official requirements on an ongoing basis and pass on resulting information to our exhibitors and trade fair visitors promptly.

Which payment methods are available for orders in the ticket shop?

You will soon find the following payment options in the ticket shop: prepayment, direct debit, PayPal, Klarna and credit card. Payment for orders in the ticket shop is not possible on site in Munich.

How can I cancel an unpaid order in the ticket shop?

If a payment for an order is not received within 14 working days, it will be automatically cancelled. You do not need to do anything else.

How can I cancel a paid order in the ticket shop?

If your order has already been paid, the payment provider must perform the cancellation. To do so, please send us an email with the details of the order (customer name, email address, order number and/or invoice number) to besucher@expopharm.de


Cancellations of individual items are currently not possible. In these cases, please complete your details with all items to be cancelled. The order will then be cancelled completely, and you will receive voucher codes for all other items, which you can redeem in the ticket shop.

When will the voucher codes for students and student groups be available?

Starting on 13 July 2022, voucher codes for students and student groups will be available on the expopharm website.

Where can voucher codes for students and student groups be ordered?

You will be able to order them directly from expopharm.de. You will receive the voucher codes and the invoice by email. The codes must be redeemed individually by the students in the ticket shop.

How much do the voucher codes for students and student groups cost?

The voucher codes for students and student groups cost EUR 8.00 per student. Orders are binding. Individual voucher codes cannot be cancelled.

When will the list/overview of exhibitors be available on expopharm.de?

The company profiles of expopharm exhibitors will be available on the expopharm website as of 11 July 2022 and will be updated regularly.

Is there an exhibitor list that can be sent by email?

No! The company profiles of expopharm exhibitors will only be available on the expopharm website.

Where will the expopharm Night event take place?

The expopharm Night event will take place in the Munich club Neuraum on 15 September 2022.

Can I receive a payment receipt before I have paid for the order?

No! Unfortunately, that is not possible. The payment provider generates and sends the final statement automatically as soon as the receipt of payment has been registered.

How can the customer details on the final statement be changed?

This can only be done by the ticket provider. To do this, you must send the new details for the final statement to besucher@expopharm.de

. As soon as the change has been made, you will receive a corresponding response. You can then download the updated final statement in your profile under ‘Ticket/Invoices’. In addition, please change the data in your user profile on the expopharm website under ‘My account’ for future orders.

How can I change the day for using public transport on my ticket?

This can only be done by the ticket provider. To do this, you must send the new day(s) to besucher@expopharm.de

The order will then be completely cancelled, and you will receive a voucher code to redeem in the ticket shop.

Is it also possible to buy tickets on site at expopharm Munich?

Yes! You can also buy tickets on site in the expopharm entrance area.  However, you will not benefit from the discounted advance booking price from the ticket shop. On-site ticket prices are as follows:


Day ticket on site: EUR 30.00

Event pass on site: EUR 60.00

Student ticket on site: EUR 15.00

Will I receive a refund for my ticket if expopharm is cancelled?

If expopharm 2022 is cancelled, you will receive a full refund of the purchase price of your ticket(s).

The refund transaction will be handled by Avoxa Mediengruppe. You do not have to do anything on your part. 

Certified continuing education at pharma-world

The Bavarian State Chamber of Pharmacists has accredited the scientific lectures at pharma-world - pharmaceutical personnel receive one point per attended lecture for their personal continuing education certificate. If you attend all four days of the trade fair, this gives you the opportunity to collect up to 32 continuing education points.*

*Please note that you can receive a maximum of eight continuing education points per trade fair day.

When does the trade fair open for exhibitors?

Booth setup::
At any time between Friday, 9 September 2022, at 8 A.M. and Tuesday, 13 September 2022, at 6 P.M.
The structural setup must be completed by 4 P.M. on 13 September 2022.
The decorative setup must be completed by 6 P.M. on 13 September 2022.
The aisles must be cleared of all items by this time.

Booth dismantling::
At any time between Saturday, 17 September 2022 at 6 P.M. and Monday, 19 September 2022 at 6 P.M.

Where can I find order forms for telecommunications services as an exhibitor?

As of February, the technical order forms have been available for download on our website. As an exhibitor, you can order various types of internet access at your booth.

Order forms for WLAN/Wi-Fi access for exhibitors can be found under section 6 of the forms.  If you are an exhibitor and prefer to use your own WLAN/Wi-Fi at the booth, please use form 6.7.

How tall can my booth be?

The maximum permissible booth height is 6 metres, hall ceiling height and exiting permanent fixtures permitting.

Further requirements pertaining to the booth can be found in the technical guidelines of Messe München (Munich Exhibition Centre).

Can I play music in my booth?

Acoustic advertising materials are permitted as long as they do not disturb the neighbouring booth and do not exceed the sound volume of 70 decibels at the booth boundary.

The exhibitor is responsible for obtaining permits for any kind of playback of music from GEMA against a fee.

Where can I register for a special booth setup?

You can download the appropriate application form for special booth setups from our website. Please observe the applicable building regulations.

How can I get information about the options for electrical installations on the exhibition grounds?

The corresponding order form can be downloaded from our website. Information about electrical connections in the halls and on the outdoor exhibition area, as well as other electrical installations, can be found in our order forms under sections 3.1, 3.2. and 3.

Can I order catering for my booth from a special supplier?

Yes, the relevant service providers are listed on the corresponding order form for the event. The order form can be downloaded from our website.

I am an exhibitor and need information about suspension structures

Is it possible that there will still be an event at the booth in the evening?

We are exhibitors at expopharm and need a presentation platform. Where can we order the presentation platform?

All necessary order forms can be downloaded from our website. The contact details of the local service providers are also included on the order form.

Will my booking be transferred to expopharm 2023?

Your booking will not be automatically transferred to expopharm 2023. Exhibitors can start registering in July 2022 to take part in the next expopharm, which will be held in Düsseldorf from 27 to 30 September 2023.

Does Avoxa Mediengruppe refund costs for third-party bookings (booth constructor, hotels, travel company, other service providers) in the event of cancellation due to the effects of COVID-19?

For services which are arranged between third parties, only the terms agreed between the respective contracting parties shall apply. Avoxa Mediengruppe will not reimburse these costs.

When will Avoxa Mediengruppe make a decision on the implementation of expopharm as an in-person event in the event of ongoing COVID-19 issues?

Due to the event date, which is scheduled in autumn 2022, we are confident that expopharm 2022 will take place. We review official requirements on an ongoing basis and pass on resulting information to our exhibitors and trade fair visitors promptly.

What happens if expopharm takes place but I cannot participate due to COVID-19 and a resulting change in my company policy, even though I have already received notification of admission?

Once you have received notification of admission, you are obliged to pay the participation fee in full.

What happens if I register a booth but subsequently decide that I am unable to attend expopharm 2022 due to the effects of COVID-19?

You can withdraw your participation after registering a booth.

They will not be sent before 1 March 2022. Up to this point, we will not invoice you for the participation price for the booth space and the visitor promotion package or the pro-rata energy costs if you withdraw your booth registration.

Exhibitors may cancel their registration before being admitted by the organiser. After you received notification of admission, a cancellation fee of EUR 1,800 per booth (plus VAT at the rate applicable in the year of the event) will be applied.

Who is responsible for the hygiene infection protection standards at my booth?

You are responsible for independent implementation at the exhibition booths.

Compliance with measures on the site will be monitored by Avoxa Mediengruppe, Messe München and your service providers.

Is there a required number of disinfectant options for my booth?

A sufficient amount of disinfectant dispensers must be provided for booth personnel and visitors, and they must be regularly refilled with hand disinfectant (e.g. in access, catering or meeting areas).

Are there any tools to help prepare my hygiene concept?

The Research Institute for Exhibition and Live-Communication (R.I.F.E.L.) has collaborated with FAMAB to publish an action recommendation on event safety in the context of COVID-19. It can be accessed on the FAMAB website via this direct link

What do I need to take into consideration when using disinfectant?

The disinfectant must remain in the container labelled by the manufacturer. Flammable liquids may not be decanted on the trade fair site. The storage quantity for flammable liquids is limited to 0.5 l per square metre of booth space. Avoxa Mediengruppe assumes that such liquids will be present at your booths during the coronavirus pandemic and will not report this. The effectiveness of the disinfectant is specified by the manufacturer (at least limited virucidal effect).

What do I need to take into consideration at my booth during the event?

You are responsible for implementing all hygiene and infection protection standards at your booth.

What do I need to take into consideration when handing out brochures or freebies at the booth?

Avoxa Mediengruppe recommends that you wear gloves when distributing materials. However, this is not a requirement.

Once an item has been touched, it may not be put back or returned. You must ensure that there are suitable disposal facilities.

Can touchscreens be used at my booth?

You may use touchscreens at your booth. They should be cleaned regularly at short intervals using a degreasing household cleaning product. You must inform yourself in advance about the suitability of the cleaning product in question for the surfaces using the device descriptions.

How many people can I have at my booth?

Avoxa Mediengruppe does not specify a maximum number of people for booths. The key factor is that the people who are present must be able to maintain a minimum distance of 1.50 metres from each other for social distancing.
